Spherona Biodegradable manufactures 100% compostable tableware from sugarcane bagasse—a natural by-product of the sugar industry. Our plates, bowls, trays, and containers are a clean, practical alternative to single-use plastic, designed for food service, hospitality, catering, and retail.
Operating from a 109,500 sq. ft. facility in Tankara, Gujarat, we produce around 120 tonnes of tableware every month. Over 11 years, we’ve grown from a local manufacturer to an exporter serving the UAE, Middle East, Europe, Central America, and Western Africa.

Harsh Patel brings 11+ years of experience in sales, market development, and quality operations. He leads Spherona’s Sales & Operations—overseeing everything from production quality and raw material sourcing to export compliance and customer relationships. His founding insight—that sugarcane bagasse could credibly replace plastic in food service—remains the core of what Spherona does.

We aim to be a globally trusted supplier of biodegradable food packaging—present in every major market, recognized for quality, and known for making sustainability accessible at scale. Our goal: prove that compostable products from renewable resources can fully replace plastic, and take that proof to the world.
Our manufacturing facility is located on Tankara–Latipar Road, Kalyanpar, Tankara, Gujarat. Spread across 109,500 sq. ft., it is purpose-built for high-volume production of bagasse tableware—from raw material intake to finished, export-ready product.
We produce around 120 tonnes of tableware monthly. Every step—bagasse pulping, moulding, drying, trimming, and inspection—is done in-house. This gives us full control over quality, lead times, and order consistency.
A certified in-house laboratory monitors every batch for strength, thickness, food-contact safety, and compostability. Our QC process ensures every shipment meets international standards.

Today, Spherona exports to Europe, Central America, Western Africa, and the Middle East. We are deepening existing partnerships and building new ones—with hospitality brands, food service businesses, and distributors worldwide.
